Hello We are currently producing a programme for Channel 4 about hospital nursing and midwifery. We would like to hear about experiences from both nurses and patients. We are interested to find out about specific situations or events during your stay or work in hospital with the view of potentially doing an interview on camera. For example as a patient did the nurses make you feel safe and looked after or did something go wrong. If you are a nurse or midwife how do you find the day to day working life? what works well and what could be improved? Whatever you tell us, we'll treat the information confidentially and anonymously where necessary. Our aim is to make an fair and balanced programme about experiences in NHS hospitals today. If you have a story to tell or if you would like to know more please feel free to get in touch by emailing me at karolina.mottram@liontv.co.uk or you can call us on 0208 846 2116. Thanks Karolina |

Hello
Channel 4’s ‘Dispatches’ is making a programme that explores what life is like for nurses and nurse midwives working in NHS hospitals across the country. The programme will portray what nurses really feel about their jobs, and describe the reality of day to day nursing from their own testimony. It will also convey the experiences and opinions of patients (and their relatives) who need and depend on nurses and nurse midwives when they are in hospital. Hope that helps - if you'd like more information please do get in touch on the details above. Thanks Karolina |

isn't it wrong for nurses to go on tv and talk about what they think? they can lose their jobs cant they? they cant say what they really think.
why dont you go undercover and see what really goes on?
there are a lot of patients out there too with stories that deserve to be told but then there will be others who are just moaning and give the wrong impression.
