Looks like we haven't has much choice - the big unions have accepted it! I'm more concerned with the inflation rise clause - and how it will be activatedsomehow I think the government will renage on this. -

i cannot believe we accepted this pay deal.the final year is subject to the pay review body recommendations and we all know how the government renaged on the deal with police officers which was recommended by PRB, they just cannot be trusted

2.7% from April 2008
2.4% for 2009/10
