Hello,

I'm a researcher for BBC Radio 4. I'm trying to find out more about what it's like to be a prison nurse in England/Wales.

I'd love to be able to have a conversation over the phone with a nurse currently working in a prison (ideally HMP Oakwood but any would be great) about the nature of the work and what the challenges of the role are. I'm also interested in finding out whether things have gotten harder recently, and if so why.

I understand many will be contractually obliged not to talk to the press. As such, the initial conversation would not be for broadcasting and wouldn't be recorded. Anonymity would be protected and in any future interview we wouldn't broadcast your voice or anything else which could identify you.

If you might be able to help, please email Ben.weisz02@bbc.co.uk with a way of contacting you. Thanks.
